On January 31, 1994, more than 30 Christian leaders came together to build a ministry that would defend your religious freedom— before it was too late.

Like the Body of Christ, the alliance is one body made up of many parts. Attorneys play different roles than pastors. Business leaders play different roles than legislators. Each person must play his or her particular role, under one shared vision, to ensure that religious freedom thrives. For more than 25 years, ADF has been advocating for religious liberty, the sanctity of human life, freedom of speech, and marriage and family.
LIBERTY COUNSEL
Liberty Counsel is a Christian ministry that proclaims, advocates, supports, advances, and defends the good news that God in the person of Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who accept him as Lord and Savior. Every ministry and project of Liberty Counsel centers around and is based upon this good news, which is also referred to as the gospel.
Liberty Counsel is a corporate expression of Christian believers who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and join together in regular prayer, study of the Bible, praise and worship. FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE DEFENSE FUND
The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to vindicating the constitutional rights of all Americans. Through impact litigation, educational programs and policy advocacy, the Defense Fund spearheads initiatives on issues related to religious freedom, bioethics, and American values. What makes us unique — and much-needed — is our focus on funding trial-level constitutional litigation.
The importance of trial level litigation is critical. Too many cases never get to the appellate level because harassed, oppressed, and intimidated men and women do not have the financial resources to defend their rights at trial. That’s where we come in. Conscience is the inner voice in a man that moves him to do good under any circumstances and to avoid evil by all means. More than ever, the government and secular humanists have trampled on Americans’ conscience rights. That’s why we fund trial-level litigation to vindicate the inalienable rights of all Americans.
